Gunned Down: The Power of the NRA – FRONTLINE

Tuesday, PBS Frontline aired a new documentary, “Gunned Down: The Power of the NRA”, an investigation into the evolution of the group and its consistency in defeating firearm legislation. It begins with the early history of the NRA, when the focus was centered around hunting and gun safety, and travels through the last several decades after a coup transformed the group and its political mission.

The film touches on the most monumental of American shootings, starting with the assassinations of Presidents and political figures in the 1960s, onto Columbine, and ending with Tuscon and Sandy Hook, and the NRA’s response to every tragedy.
